From Queens Wood you can follow a signposted route along easy Forestry roads, the newly re-surfaced Daffodil Way and then via kissing gates (the stiles have all been removed) to enjoy the hedgerow and meadow daffodils, rejoining the village road at Kempley Green and on to the village hall for tea and cake ….... all at your own pace a leisurely 20-30 mins stroll suitable for all the family. Walk back to Queens wood or take the Daff’n’Ride bus.
Walking Maps of the Daffodil Way and the Poets’ Way will be available for sale from the produce stall in the village hall.
Guided Walks leave Kempley Village hall:
11:00 am - 6 mile tromp along Daffodil Way on footpaths, through fields and ancient woodland. Views of Malverns, village heritage, farms, streams and up and along and down and along. Approx 3 hours with picnic stop - bring packed lunch. Moderate pace; easy grade.
2:00 pm - 4 miles at a brisk walking pace. Along footpaths, some stiles. Wildlife and daffodils. Approx 80 mins; easy grade.
2:00 pm - 4 miles at a casual pace. Through village, on footpaths, over ditch and stile. Approx 2 hours; easy grade.
2:30 pm - 1 mile at a very easy pace, a guided walk and talk about the natural and social history of Kempley village centre. Across fields to daffodil field and return by road. Approx 40 mins; easy grade.
